Gjógv - Adventure Unfolds in 4K
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Top AirVuz contributor and pilot DroneDirector brings us this marvelous drone video from the Faroe Islands, a North Atlantic archipelago which is part of Denmark. The video was filmed over the iconic-looking village of Gjógv, which is located in the northeastern corner of the island of Eysturoy. Located near the center of the group, Eysturoy is the second-largest of the islands. While the village of Gjógv is hundreds of years old, in recent decades its population has dwindled to just a few dozen permanent residents.

Gjógv is a village located on the northeast tip of the island of Eysturoy, in the Faroe Islands and 63 km north by road from the capital of Tórshavn. The village was named after a 200-metre long sea-filled gorge that runs north to the sea from the village.
