The 18 hole par 72 course is located in its namesake city, a southern suburb of the Greek capital, just east of the Saronic Gulf coastline. Opened in 1962, the course hosted the World Cup of Golf tournament in 1979. It's sometimes referred to as the Athens Golf Club.
