Half Moon Cay is one of the roughly 700 islands which make up the South Atlantic sovereign nation of the Bahamas.  Half Moon Cay is part of the Eleuthera sub-groupings of islands, which lies to the east of Nassau.  Very unusually, Half Moon Cay (also known as Little San Salvador Island), is privately owned - by the Holland America.  The cruise giant purchased the island from the government in 1996 and uses it as a port of call.  Check out this stunning island from above in this drone video by 1979bairobi.
