Located about 25 mi. (around 25 km) northwest of Lahore, Pakistan, Hiran Minar is one of the most well-known landmarks of the great Mughal Empire which ruled over much of Southern Asia from the 16th to the mid-19th century.  Seen in this drone video by former  Drone Video of the Week Finalist Drone Life PK, Hiran Minar was built in the early 1600's as a hunting lodge for Jahangir, the fourth Mughal Emperor.  The complex is distinguished by its 360 ft. tall minaret (110 m), giant pool, and octagon-shaped pavilion.

Hiran Minar is one of the historical sites located in upper Punjab near the city of Sheikhupura. Hiran Minar is a Mughal-era complex located in Sheikhupura, about 40 kilometers northwest of Lahore. The complex was built in the early 17th century at the site of a hunting reserve. The complex consist of a minaret built in honor of Emperor Jahangir's pet antelope named Mansraj, a rectangular water tank with an octagonal pavilion in the center, and a causeway connecting the minaret and the pavilion. The site can easily be accessed through M2 motorway exit 7. This video showcases an aerial tour of the historical site.
