History, Extreme Sports and Aerial Video of Inis Mór, Ireland

History, extreme sports, and technology meet in this beautiful aerial film. Slovakian drone pilot and creator 'iampeternagy,' who currently lives in Ireland, flew his 4K video drone above Inis Mór. It's the largest Aran Island off the country's western coast.

The island of Inis Mór (Inishmore) means 'the big island' and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Ireland. The drone video highlights two of the island's main attractions: history and extreme sports.

Archeologists are drawn to the artifacts and stone structures that remain on the island. The Archaeological site, Dun Aonghasa, is of particular interest. The nature of the stone walled fortress is still somewhat of a mystery to academics. The video also shows a man jumping into the famous 'worm hole' often used for Red Bull events. The island is a destination for surfing, rock climbing, and cycling.

The best time to experience the island is between May and June when the weather is favorable for all available attractions and activities.
