Holbox, la isla mágica
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Holbox is one of the least-known islands of Mexico. It lies off the northern coast of the Yucatán Peninsula, near the spot where the Gulf of Mexico meets the Caribbeam Sea. Separated from the mainland by a roughly 10 km wide shallow lagoon, the island is about 42 km long (about 25 mi.) but only 1.5 km wide (less than a mile). While other islands like Cozumel and Isla Mujeres have developed substantial tourist industry, Isla Holbox is largely still dominated by fishing. Check it out from above in this drone video by jelipgomez.
