Huey P. Long Bridge Sunset

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Bumble Bee Productions brings us this beautiful sunset drone video of the Huey P. Long Bridge near New Orleans, Louisiana. Spanning the Mississippi River just upstream from the Big Easy, the cantilevered steel through-truss bridge opened at the end of 1935. It is named after the populist Louisiana Governor and Senator, who was assassinated earlier that year. Expanded in the early 21st century at a cost of about $1.3 billion, it carries both rail and road traffic; its (shorter) road section measures almost 2.5k meters or about 8.1k ft..
