INVERSE - A Tenet Film - Canon R5 8K

Inspired by Christopher Nolan’s Tenet. After seeing Tenet this summer I wanted to challenge myself to make something completely in reverse. I knew it would be an undertaking but would take me out of my comfort zone and push me creatively to try something different. I saw this as an opportunity to personally and professionally develop by taking on a Christopher Nolan concept and making it my own. I teamed up with my friends at Adorama to get early access to the Canon R5 and see if the camera would live up to the buzz shooting in 8K 30fps and 4K 120fps. For the visuals to do Tenet justice the reverse footage would need to be wow factor so I brought in the East Coast’s top #parkour athletes. These guys are future stuntmen in the making and I very much hope this short film captures the attention of the industry. We also partnered up with Area 53, New York’s premier paint-balling facility with locations in Brooklyn & the Bronx. What started as a paint-balling weekend video over my Birthday turned into 2 more weekends on location filming a much more extensive concept. The New York Expo Center is on property at Area 53 and opened up a whole new set of movie set locations.
