Iconic Lighthouse in Southern England

Beachy Head Lighthouse has been helping to protect shipping in the English Channel since 1902. It's located at the base of the chalk cliffs below the town of the same name in the county of East Sussex, roughly halfway between Brighton and Hastings. Distinguished by its red and white stripes and automated since 1983, the tower stands 43 meters tall or about 141 ft..
