KYIV | Ukraine by Drone in 4K - DJI Mavic Air 2

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Former DVOW Finalist eCKsplorer brings us this excellent drone video from Kiev, the capital city of Ukraine.  Filmed with a DJI Air 2, the video opens with a shot of the city's most well-recognized landmark: the Motherland Monument, a memorial to the millions of Ukrainians lost in World War II.   From there, you'll head to the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra monastery, followed by the Baroque masterpiece St Andrew's Church.  Other featured locations include the monastery of St. Michaels (at the 1:05 mark), the Dneiper River (1:15), and more.

BADGES THIS VIDEO HAS EARNED:

I took the chance to see Kiev when I heard how cheap it was to visit there, and I also must admit I had a slight fascination with seeing Chernobyl as well. Getting to Ukraine was pretty easy and I found the city to be full of history, not to mention many Eastern Orthodox Churches (Volodymyr's Cathedral, St. Andrew's Church, St. Sophia's Cathedral, St. Michael's Monastery, etc.). What I enjoyed the most was the Motherland Monument; a stainless steel statue of a woman holding a sword and shield looking East over the Dnieper River. I found myself here at sunrise my first morning there and the views were incredible. If you have a chance to visit, I highly recommend it.
