Kakheti - Georgia

At the eastern end of Georgia lies the province of Kahketi.  Kahketi has long borders with neighboring countries Russia and Azerbaijan, and its culture reflects a mix of influences.  Like the rest of the Caucasus region, it is a mountainoous land, and less cosmopolitan than the areas to to its west where Georgia's major cities Tbilisi, Gori, and Batumi lie.  Travelwithus created a breathtaking aerial view of this amazing region, which is also home to some of Georgia's most well known monasteries.
