Kara Dere Beach by Drone

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

In this drone video by AirVuz contributor nikolov_kn, you'll get an aerial view of one of the last undeveloped stretches of beachfront on Bulgaria's long Black Sea coastline.  It's called Kara Dere (Karadere) Beach, and it's located roughly halfway between Varna and Burgas, the country's two main coastal cities.  The beach runs for about three mi. (around five km).  While there are several small towns and villages nearby, the beach itself is relatively inaccessible due to the absence of roads in its immediate vicinity.

BADGES THIS VIDEO HAS EARNED:

This video presents the southernmost area on the Varna Black Sea coast - Kara Dere.

It is located between the town of Byala and the village of Goritsa near the northern slopes of Stara Planina and not far from the protected area Irakli. The area is wild, there is no infrastructure and that is why many tourists like it. The beach is clean, not rocky, in some places bordered by forest, elsewhere - by bushes. There are good conditions for surfing and tent tourism.

The disadvantage is the complete lack of timber for camping, which, however, can be obtained from the forest on the main road Varna-Burgas, which is 7-10 km from the beach. The area is accessible by car, bicycle and on foot from the town of Byala and the village of Goritsa. During the summer season, along the several kilometers of beach line and deep in the woods, there are over two hundred tents. The high attendance determines the serious pollution of the area with household waste. Periodically, there are enthusiasts who clean the area from the household waste of other tourists.

Kara Dere is a famous and liked place for people who are fans of tent tourism, nudism and extreme sports.
