MacDonnell Ranges

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Prepare to be amazed by this incredible drone video from the MacDonnell Ranges, a chain of mountains in the Australian Outback.  The range consists of a series of parallel ridges which run both west and east of the town of Alice Springs, in the southern part of the vast Northern Territory.  The highest peak in the range, Mount Zeil, has a summit elevation of just over 5k ft. above sea level (around 1.5k m).  Formed between 300-350 million years ago, the MacDonnell Ranges are known in particular for their gaps and gorges.
