Mallorca, Faro de Formentor en 1 minuto

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : AirVuz contributor J.M. Palmer brings us this stunning drone video of the Formentor Lighthouse, which lies on the Spanish island of Mallorca in the western Mediterranean Sea. Completed in 1863, it's located at the tip of Cap de Formentor, a long peninsula which extends north from the main body of the island. The still-active lighthouse stands 72 ft. tall (22 m), but due to its elevation it has a focal height of 690 ft. (210 m), the tallest in the Balearic chain which also includes Menorca, Ibiza, and a number of smaller islands.
