Seen here in this drone video by AirVuz contributor nicos aerial, it houses the Musée des beaux-arts and Muséum d'histoire naturelle de Marseille, two of the city's best-known museums. Situated in the 4th arrondissement near the center of the city, the complex was built in the mid-19th century to celebrate the Canal de Marseille, a major engineering feat which brought fresh water to the city.
