AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Check out this outstanding drone video from the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius, compliments of AirVuz contributor and pilot gadour23.  Located about 2,000 km (around 1.2k mi.) east of the island of Madagascar, Mauritius covers a land area of about 1.85k square km or around 720 square mi.  Formed by the eruption of underwater volcanoes, Mauritius is famous for its white sand beaches, secluded lagoons, and a giant offshore reef which surrounds much of the island.  Formerly a colony of France, it's been independent since 1968.
