My first time filming a cruise ship, Valiant Lady.

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Check out this excellent drone video of a brand-new cruise ship docked in the port of Liverpool, UK by AirVuz contributor and pilot Chris. He filmed the Valiant Lady, the second ship launched by Virgin Voyages. Launched in 2020, the ship's entry into regular service was delayed by the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. The Italian-built vessel is 912 ft. long (278 m) and 125 ft. wide (38 m) at the beam. Displacing 110k gross tons, the ship can carry up to just under 2.8k passengers in addition to a crew of 1.16k.

Hi guy's in today's video I travelled up to Liverpool Docks as there was a cruise ship that had come in that morning and was leaving in a couple of days so I had to get the drone up now if I wanted to film and take some pictures of her. The problem was that one there were tons of seagulls flying around and two it was very windy but this was my only chance to get the shots I wanted so up the drone it went. Valiant Lady is a cruise ship under construction at Fincantieri's shipyard in Sestri Ponente for Virgin Voyages. Scheduled to debut in March 2022 as Virgin's second ship,she will become the sister ship to Scarlet Lady and also operate exclusively as an "adults-only" ship.
