#OBENDROHNE - Today with my video we are flying over the state capital of the Free State of Thuringia Erfurt - in the valley of the Gera. The Anger - the living center of the city - Once the main trading post for woad, wine, wool and wheat, the Anger was today the main shopping street in Erfurt and a true paradise for shopping enthusiasts. Erfurt Cathedral St. Marien -The Erfurt Cathedral is the landmark of the state capital of Erfurt. Together with the church of St. Severi, it forms a unique backdrop and a visual end to the cathedral square, one of the largest market places in Europe. Barfüsserkirche - The ruins of the Barfüsserkirche tower in the heart of the old town. It is considered one of the oldest records of the establishment of the Franciscan monks in Germany and the oldest in Thuringia at all. The ruins of the largely destroyed 1944 church of the former Franciscan monastery is one of the masterpieces of German mendicant architecture. The Petersberg is a survey about 231 meters high, which is located in the center of the Thuringian capital Erfurt. On the grounds extends the Citadel Petersberg. Inside is the Peterskirche, once the largest Romanesque monastery church in Thuringia. The Krämerbrücke is the oldest secular building in Erfurt and is one of the city's most famous landmarks, with two-sided, closed bridge buildings with half-timbered houses. It is the longest continuously built with houses bridge in Europe.
