Pirano - Slovenia

New AirVuz contributor stefanotrojani.com brings us this fantastic drone video from the port town of Piran, Slovenia.  Piran lies on the Istrian Peninsula, a landform which juts southward into the Adriatic Sea.  Settled since Roman times, Piran became an important city within the Venetian Empire, which ruled over the Adriatic region for much of the Medieval and Early Modern periods.  It was an Austrian territory for much of the 19th century before being ceded to Italy and then to Yugoslavia, of which Slovenia was part until the 1990's.
