Plaine Morte | Exploring Switzerland Ep. 12 | DJI Mavic 2 Pro

Contributor maik kellerhals used a DJI Mavic Pro 2 to create this aerial video of a small but well-known glacier in Switzerland.  It's called the Plaine Morte, and it's located in the canton of Bern at a base elevation of of about 2.5k meters or around 8.1k ft.  The ice sheet covers about 9 square km (around 3.5 square mi.) as of mid-2019. It's situated below Mt. Wildstrubel, which is part of the Bernese Alps and has a peak elevation of around 3.25 meters or around 10.6k ft. above sea level.
