Former Drone Video of the Week Winner PureCreations.pl brings us this excellent early-morning drone video of Katowice, Poland.  One of the country's dozen largest cities, it's part of the province of Silesia, in the southwestern part of the country.  It lies near the Silesian coal fields, one of Poland's most important natural resources.  The region had been part of Prussia (the core of modern Germany) but came under Polish control after World War I, where it's remained but for six years of German occupation/annexation in World War II.
