AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
AirVuz contributor and pilot Christian Atallah brings us this excellent drone video of one of the most well-known landmarks of Lebanon: the giant Virgin Mary statue at the Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon. The 15-ton bronze statue stands 8.5 meters tall or about 27 ft. The statue was erected in 1907 atop a hill in a village called Harissa, which is located about 20 km (around a dozen miles) north of Beirut. One of the world's most important shrines honoring the Virgin Mary, it's a major pilgrimage site.
