Retezat the protected area

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Romania's Retezat Mountains are amongst the country's great natural treasures, in a country which is known in large part for its beautiful mountain landscapes. The mountains are part of the great Southern Carpathian chain which define the boundary between the region of Transylvania and that of Muntenia. They are home to the country's highest peak - Mt. Pelegea, which has a summit elevation of just over 2.5k meters (around 8.3k ft.). Check out this stunning area in this drone video by mihaflorea.
