Revisiting Port of Corpus Christi

Situated on the Gulf of Mexico, it's the eighth-largest city in Texas as of 2019. The city's port was the site of a US Civil War battle in 1862, in which Union forces repelled a Confederate naval incursion to bombard the city. It has been 3 years since I was in the Corpus Christi, Texas area. So I decided to head out from Rockport to visit the blue ghost (USS Lexington CV-16) and the Port of Corpus Christi. The last time I was here, the Po Po came by to make sure I did not cross the bridge and into Federal port airspace. Of course I had my TWIC card in tow and knew not to head that way. Close maybe but I maintained a responsible distance. A beautiful area and will be here for a spell. Work related of course....
