Ruhama Badlands in the spring
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Check out this drone video from a historic area of southern Israel, compliments of AirVuz contributor and pilot Omer Tsur - AirWorks. It was filmed around the town of Ruhama in the Negev Desert, not far from the area known as the Gaza Strip. The town became the site of Israel's first kibbutz - a type of agricultural collective which took hold in what was then British-controlled Palestine in the early 20th century. During World War I, the area became an important base of operation for the British Army under General Allenby.

A hill area in the northwestern Israel Negev, where the water razed and thus cut down the area. In winter and spring the place is full of seasonal flowers and the many wheat fields are green to the far horizon.
