AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Rustavi is a medium-sized city in southern Georgia, lying a bit southeast of the capital city Tbilisi. Capital of the Kvemo Kartli province, Rostavi is an ancient city which is mentioned in many texts from the Antiquity. More recently, it was the recipient of significant investment during the Soviet Union's big industrialization push of the 1930s, with its Rustavi Steel becoming one of the most important industrial complexes in the Caucasus.
