The video uses well-edited timelapses to give you an great visual impression of this very old Baltic port city, a one-time member of the mighty Hanseatic League which dominated maritime Northern Europe for centuries. Since becoming independent from the USSR in the early 1990's, Riga has led the way to re-connecting Latvia to the rest of Europe.

About a week ago I decided to go for a flight because the weather was looking good. So I did. But something unusual happened. In both flights, the weather changed rapidly and I managed to fly through a snowstorm. When do you actually do that? :D If there is a snow storm you usually just wait till it's over and then you fly, but in this case I already in the air so I had to use this opportunity to capture something I haven't captured before. Enjoy!
