Saskatchewan Oil Fields
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
AirVuz contributor and pilot TannerNG brings us this excellent drone view of the oilfields of Saskatchewan, Canada. The prairie province produces roughly Canada is one of the world's largest oil producers. Saskatchewan produces roughly 500k barrels of crude oil per day, roughly 10% of the country's total and about a third of Canada's conventional oil production (which excludes output from the massive oil sands in northern Alberta). Roughly two-thirds of Saskatchewan is transported by pipeline to refineries in the USA.

I stopped along the Red Coat Trail, just outside of Carlyle, Saskatchewan, Canada, and took some aerial video of some harvesters, as well as one of the oil well pumps that dot the landscape. No matter what time of year, the wide open prairie of Southern Saskatchewan is truly incomparable. This was shot with a Mavic Air 2, 24fps in UHD 4K.
