Ship Handling 101
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Contributor Riverrat_productions created this aerial view of the port of Savannah, Georgia, one of the most important harbors on the USA's East Coast. The port is situated on the Savannah River, about 30 km (around 18 mi.) from its mouth on the Atlantic Ocean. As of 2018 Savannah was the fourth-biggest container port in the United States, measured by 20 foot equivalent units ("TEU's"). Savannah is the second-busiest port on the East Coast, after the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

I am fascinated by the huge container ships, the tugs that move them around in the harbor, and all of the infrastructure required to load and unload these vessels. The Port of Savannah container terminal is a huge economic asset to the state of Georgia.
