Stradbroke Island, South East Queensland (4K)
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Australia's Moreton Bay, on which the Queensland capital city Brisbane sits, is formed by two islands: Moreton and North Stradbroke. Until 1896, there was no North Stadbroke Island nor was there a South Sadbroke Island, there was just Stradbroke Island. In that year, a gigantic storm caused the island to split in two, divided by the Jumpinpin Channel. In this drone video by contributor and pilot Adam Macca, you'll get a beautiful bird's eye view of North Stradbroke Island, sometimes called "Straddie".

Stradbroke Island or ‘Straddie’ is located in South East Queensland, Australia. Straddie is right on my doorstep and only a 20 minute boat ride into Dunwich. Crystal clear water, brilliant white sands and awesome surf Straddie is an iconic Aussie get away. Footage was captured at the most Easterly point of the Island at Point lookout. Drone footage captured using the DJI Mavic Pro.
