Tenby

The seaside town of Tenby is one of the historical and cultural treasures of Wales. Seen in this excellent drone video by former DVOW Finalist Nathan Jermy, Tenby is located in Pembrokshire, the westernmost of the Welsh counties. Its city walls date to the Norman period, and during the later Middle Ages the city came to occupy an important strategic position with respect to England's conquest and control of Wales. Decimated during the English Civil War, Tenby later became one of Britain's first seaside getaway destinations.
