Tenerife: A Cinematic Journey Through Paradise

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

New contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot dronic.fpv brings us this outstanding travel video from Tenerife, the largest of Spain's Canary Islands.  Created using both FPV footage and "establishing" shots with a gimbal-stabilized drone, the video will take you over and around this fascinating land, which is located about 185 mi. (around 300 km) off the coast of North Africa.  Enjoy the ride as you explore the island's stunning coastal cliffs, zip past massive rock formations, and soar over twisting mountain roads.

BADGES THIS VIDEO HAS EARNED:

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to fly my drones through the landscapes of Tenerife. I speak of an "opportunity" because I am only 14 years old. Together with my mavic mini and my fpv drone, I was able to capture some epic shots. These where also my first long range flights.

I shot the intro and outro scene with the good old lumix fz300 of my sister. In this video I really wanted to invest time in the transitions. I wanted to do something different, that is why I really wanted to have a story behind it. The video starts with me dreaming about a great trip with beautifull landscapes. As I start sketching my ideas about the possible shots I could make during this trip, it suddenly turns into reality. At the end, reality hits me back, and the dream turns into "just" a sketch again. Realising it was just a dream, I sadly throw my sketch away.

Since I want videography to be more than a passion, having a title such as "drone video of the week" or even "month" could be very useful to put on my social media and hopefully get some new clients. Winning this contest would enable me to buy myself the dslr camera for which I have now been saving for years. This would enable me to make even more qualitative content.

The shots were taken at several spots on the island, such as "El Teide, Puerto de Santiago..."

Thank you for watching my video. I hope you enjoy it. See you next time for an even better video.
