The Church of the Resurrection of Christ is an Orthodox Church built in 1892 on a steep cliff-red rock. The height of the building above sea level is 412 meters. Monument of Russian architecture of the late XIX century.

Check out this excellent drone view of a famous church in the Crimea region of Russia, compliments of Alexandr Shinkarevskiy.  Known variously as Church of Christ's Resurrection or Foros Church, it is located just outside of the town of Yalta.  Perched on a cliff in the mountains which run parallel to the peninsula's southeastern coastline, the church affords spectacular views of the Black Sea.  Consecrated in 1892, the church was built to celebrate the miraculous survival of the Imperial Family in a 1888 train crash.
