Elroy Ahmet - DroneStruction created this stunning aerial view of one of the best-preserved Italian fortresses.  It's known variously as Sirmone Castle, the Scaliger Castle, and the Floating Castle, and it's located on a peninsula on the southern end of Lake Garda in the province of Bescia, Lombardy.  The structure was constructed in the 13th century by the Della Scala family, who ruled much of the region for over a century.  The structure was further fortified when it came under Venetian control in the 15th century.
