AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Almost by definition, the best way to film freeride (back-country) skiing is by drone, which can always be flown higher than the subject skier. To see what's possible, check out this amazing drone video by top AirVuz contributor www.oberschneider.com, who filmed Austrian filmmaker and skier Sandra Lahnsteiner cutting a line running down a mountain in the Austrian Alps. The video of one of Austria's top freeride skiers was filmed on the DJI Mavic Pro Cine, using all three of the quad's camera lenses.
