Cox's Bazar is located on the eastern side of the Bay of Bangal, an hour or so drive south of the #2 Bangladesh city Chittagong. It runs an incredible 120 kilometers (about 75 mi.), making it the longest natural beach in the world. Named after an officer of the British East India Company, Cox's Bazaar is the center of a growing beach-tourism industry for this South Asian country.
