Thornton Beach - Tropical Queensland's Hidden Beauty
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Most of the best-known beaches on the enormous coastline of Australia's state of Queensland are on its southern end, in the area between the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast (with the state's largest city Brisbane roughly in the middle). In this video, contributor Samuel Young gives us a beautiful bird's eye view of Thornton Beach, which lies far north of these more well known areas. It's situated by Port Douglas, near the base of the gigantic Cape York Peninsula which forms the northernmost part of the state.
