Tillamook Rock Lighthouse - Oregon Coast
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Check out this drone video of one of the most famous lighthouses in the USA's Pacific Northwest. It's called Tillamook Rock Lighthouse, and it's located about two km (around 1.2 mi.) off the Oregon coast, about 32 km (around 20 mi.) south of the mouth of the Columbia River. Completed in 1881, it was at the time the most expensive lighthouse built on the West Coast. Due to the difficulty of keepers reaching the lighthouse, it earned the name Terrible Tilly. De-commissioned in 1957, it's on the US National Register of Historic Places.

Tillamook Rock Light is a historic lighthouse on a small rock island almost 2 miles offshore on the Oregon Coast near Cannon Beach and Ecola State Park. Due to rough seas and frequent storms it came to be known as "Terrible Tilly" by lighthouse keepers. This video was shot in winter when no nesting seabirds were present.
