Natal, Brazil has the distinction of being the closest major city to Africa and Europe.  It's the capital of the state of Rio Grande del Norte, one of the nine states which make up the country's official Northeast Region. It's one of the 20 largest cities in the country and one of the top 3-4 in the Northeast Region.   Contributor Video Fly gives us a drone's eye view of the country, which is near the spot where Brazil was first "discovered" by Portuguese explorers around the turn of the 15th century.
