Vienna - Austria's capital and the world's most liveable city. A place where tradition meets modernism. This aerial short film is a private project, which is very important to me. I try to show that drones, as long as used under the respective laws, can be used legally - even in cities like Vienna. In this very specific case it's possible thanks to Austria's airspace law, which considers certain UAV as "mini drones" (toy drone class). It's not necessary to fly up high, violate law and endanger other people in air but also ground. Sometimes a few meters up in the air can make a difference, by changing your perspective. Another aspect of this movie, is the "artistic touch". For a long time I wanted to be able to edit my movies just the same way I edit my pictures. It's the first time ever that I went that far in the editing process. This project made me push my personal creative limits. Please note: legal drone usage in Vienna is only possible under strong restrictions! (Max. 79 Joule impact energy, max. 30 meters high, liability insurance. Do not fly over people. STAY AWAY FROM AIRPORTS!)
