The first is the town of Westport, which lies at the head of Clew Bay in the middle of the county's coastline. You'll get a nice view of the Westport House, the manor where the founder of the town lived in the 18th century. The other spot you'll see is the Croagh Patrick Mountain; it's the third highest mountain in the county with an elevation of 764 meters or 2.5k ft.
