Situated in the Bernese Alps, Grindelwald was given some extra exposure by appearing in Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005); the footage of the Swiss mountain was used to create the fictional planet Alderaan. It wasn't the first time in the movies for Grindelwald; the town also appeared in the 1969 James Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service, the series' #7 installment.
