Aso Beach lies on a long, narrow strip of land near the mouth of the Ishikari River in the western part of Hokkaido, Japan's northernmost island. In the warmer months, it's a popular beach getaway from Sapporo, the principal city of Hokkaido (and Japan's fifth-largest), which lies about a half hour drive to the south. The video was filmed in very cold weather - minus 12 degrees Celsius (10 degrees F).

Aso-Beach Ishikari is a beach located in Ishikari City, Hokkaido Japan. Camping is possible in the summer, so It is a popular beach for local residents. It was just before sunset, but I managed to take aerial footage at 12 ℃ below freezing. The nearby Ishikari New Port is a windy place with many huge wind power generators.
