Beautiful views of Naden & Ashworth Valley

Situated near Rochdale, four reservoirs make up this site. Naden Higher, Naden Middle, Naden Lower and Greenbooth reservoir. The Naden reservoirs, constructed in the mid-19th century preceded the Greenbooth reservoir, with construction staring in 1958, submerging Greenbooth village in the process. A plaque on the dam wall commemorates the village. The site offers spectacular views of Manchester, Yorkshire and the surrounding moorland and is a great escape all year round.
