The Castle of Grinzane Cavour is a historic defensive fortification in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. It's situated in the commune of Grinzane Cavour, which is part of the province of Cuneo. The original structure dates to the 13th or 14th century. The structure later served as a residence for a series of important Italian nobles, notably Camillo Benso, Count of Cavour, who is credited with leading the unification of modern Italy in the 19th century. The castle became a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2014.
