Hunter Valley NSW - Chateau Elan

This video is about Hunter Valley and includes Chateau Elan (where I stayed), The Vintage Golf Course (Greg Norman designed), The Chapel, McGuigan Wines, Hunter Valley Gardens plus some of the surrounding areas. I was there for a 24 hour work event and we had lots of fun. It is great for place for foodies, golfers and nature lovers as there are many wineries and places to visit. There was back burning fires in the nearby hills which left some haze in the air although the smoke was gone after the morning rain.

The Hunter Valley is a 2 hour drive north of Sydney in New South Wales. It is one of Australia's major wine regions, with a viticultural history dating back to the early 1800s. Known for varietals such as Semillon and Shiraz, it’s home to numerous wineries, including world-renowned brands and family-run boutique operations. Most are located south of the Hunter River and offer cellar door wine tastings and vineyard tours.
