METEORA - Inner Peace
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
The rock formations of Meteora in the Thessaly region of Greece are topped by a series of six Eastern Orthodox monasteries, the remainder of two dozen which once stood here. It's considered the second-most important site in the Greek Orthodox Church, after Mt. Athos. Seen in this excellent drone video by Movematic, the monasteries stand majestically atop their rock platforms overlooking the town below. The entire site was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1988 due to its cultural significance.
