PARQUE NACIONAL DO ITATIAIA (Itatiaia National Park)

  brings us this stunning drone video from Brazil's Itatiaia National Park.  The country's oldest national park, it's in the Mantiqueira Mountains, which form the natural (and actual) border between the southeastern states of Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais.  The mountains here range up to elevations of  just under 9.2k ft. above sea level (around 2.8k m).  Rivers originating in the highlands here represent one of the major sources of drinking water to some of Brazil's largest cities.
