Playa de las Catedrales at Low Tide

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

For a second upload to AirVuz, new contributor belogaev_art brings us this excellent drone video of a well-known beach in northern Spain.  It's called Beach of the Cathedrals (Playa de las Catedrales), and it's located in Lugo, one of the provinces of the region of Galicia which covers the northwestern corner of the country.  With its distinctive-looking natural arches, the beach has been designated as a Natural Monument by the Galician regional government.  The video was filmed with a DJI Air 2S drone.

BADGES THIS VIDEO HAS EARNED:

Playa de las Catedrales (Beach of the Cathedrals) located on the northwest coast of Spain, on the Cantabric coast. Translated from Galician: 'Beach of the Holy Waters'. It has been declared a Natural Monument by the regional Ministry for the Environment of the Xunta de Galicia.

At low tide, there is access to a sand deposit delimited by a rocky wall made from slate and schist forming 30 meters arches resembling cathedral flying buttresses, large caves, sand corridors between rocky blocks, and other geological features.

We were very lucky to visit this place at low tide. We saw bewitching natural wonders: from small cracks in the rock to large caves whose roofs collapsed due to wave erosion.

Let's enjoy this miracle together. We tried to shoot and edit this film with the preservation of the emotions that visited us during our stay in this beautiful place. We just added some editing, great music and just a little bit of sounddesign. Enjoy watching!
