Povoacao, Azores
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Top contributor Jumis Visuals brings us this excellent drone video from the Azores, a chain of islands of the North Atlantic Ocean which are part of Portugal. The video was filmed over and around the town of Povoação, which lies on the southeastern coast of São Miguel Island, the largest and most populous member of the group. The town is believed to have been the first in the Azores to be settled by the Portuguese, who first arrived in the islands in 1427 in the very early stages of building what became the mighty Portuguese Empire.
